Mike is a wealth management advisor with Mayernick and Associates. He joined the Amazima Board in 2008. Mike resides in Brentwood, TN with his wife Suzanne and their 7 children.
Darryl serves as treasurer of Amazima’s board. He is married and has two teenage daughters. Darryl is a financial advisor at Raymond James and is active on the mission committee at his church in Nashville, TN.
Carissa is a small business owner and mother to 5 children. She is originally from Arkansas, but has lived in Nashville for over 20 years. She has a heart for orphan care and has served on the board since 2011.
Jeff is the founder and executive director of Tin Man Ministries. His passion is investing in the lives of leaders and the organizations they lead. A graduate of Yale University, Jeff earned his Th.M. & M.Div. from Western Seminary and an MA in counseling from Liberty University. Jeff and his wife Brenda are the parents of six children and reside in Brentwood, TN.
Sam is a founding member of Sims|Funk, PLC, a litigation boutique located in Nashville. For 20 years, Sam has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of complex business disputes. Additionally, Sam has been involved in several local and international organizations, including the International Justice Mission (legal mission trips to India, Kenya and Thailand), Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee (Board Member) and others.
Nate currently serves as Headmaster of Christ Presbyterian Academy. He has served on the Amazima Board since 2013. Nate is married to Anne Morrow and the father of four.
Greg serves as Chief Mission & Ministry Officer for Saint Thomas Health where he is responsible for Church Identity, Community Health Engagement, Charity, Chaplaincy and Ethics across the system’s 9 hospitals and 95 outpatient care sites. He and his wife Rebekah are engaged in ministry to refugee families resettled in the Nashville area. Together they also have two grown children.
Mary Pat Davis
Mary Pat is the mother of Katie Davis Majors and “Jjaja” to 14 beautiful grandchildren. She has been directly involved with Amazima Ministries International since inception in 2007. She has experience with both state-side and in-country programs
Mary Virginia Frist
Mary Virginia is a native Nashvillian along with her husband Chet and their two children. She has a heart for mission work, especially in Uganda. She volunteers for many organizations in Nashville during her free time.
