Reporting to the Country Director, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Country Director to ensure that the Director can efficiently accomplish key tasks and organization initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main point of contact between the Country Director and the rest of organization
- Manage the calendar of Country Director and ensure that all events and meetings are up-to-date and accurate
- Coordinate meetings with various stakeholders
- Participate in meetings with the Country Director and take detailed minutes
- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence to Country Director
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements for Country Director
- Prepare daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports
- Any other tasks as requested by the Country Director
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a committed Christian who is in full agreement with the Statement of Faith of The Amazima School
- Must have a bachelor’s degree
- Highly organized, motivated individual
- Desire to serve others and organization
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Proactive and show initiative
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to be flexible and switch gears at a moment’s notice
