Throughout His ministry, Jesus pointed ahead to the resurrection. He knew it would be the ultimate proof of who He is. And the New Testament writers—especially Paul—make it clear that without the resurrection, the entire message of Christianity falls apart.
If Christ didn’t rise, then death wins, sin wins, and we have no hope beyond this life. But because He did rise, we have assurance of forgiveness, power to live transformed lives, and the promise of eternal life with Him.
The resurrection is not just a historical event; it is a personal promise. It tells us that no matter how broken or hopeless life may seem, God has the power to bring life out of death. Just as Jesus was raised, so too will those who belong to Him be raised into new life—both now and forever.
