To be like the man who built his house on the rock, we must spend time in God’s Word, which is our strong foundation. To live a life that reflects God’s Word, we must be doers of the Word, not just hearers. James 1:22-25 describes people who are hearers of the Word but not doers as lacking in their faith. Being a doer of the Word involves:
1. Stay connected to Jesus by spending time in His Word and prayer
2. Applying biblical principles to our lives
3. Living out our faith in practical ways
