There is still more to be seen
untold beauty to behold
That can only be seen up close
Face to face
Humanity. Dignity.
Best seen Eye to eye
Life to life
Surely the Spirit stretches the distance between us
And seen most clearly in the midst of two or more
There is still more to be taught
And as we teach truth
May god transform minds
as we serve
May Jesus seek and save
In the classroom
In homes
On village paths
As we go
There is still more justice to be done
Still more mercy to be loved
A further journey still to be walked
Step by humble step
Doing our best to to match pace with the God who is never late
Having faith that the ground shall rise to meet our feet
That the Holy Spirit will expand our hearts as needed with love for the next person in front of us
These are not the least of these
These are seeds of hope and peace
These are Jesus’ hands and feet
One student
can serve a family
change a nation
reach a generation
Yearning for the revelation of the undying love
Of the Everlasting God
God’s got the abundance
Heaven never asked us for the most
Only our best
Only for our all
Only To take this step by faith
And trust our almighty God to show us the next
May we always remember what can be done
With what little we have when put in the hands of the Great I Am
That two loaves can feed thousands
That one leap of faith
From one woman
For one year
Can turn it into thousands of children and families served
And loved
And changed forever
That when we Teach one child to learn
To grow
To lead
To serve
To love
They can change their world
And ours too
May we each learn and know and teach this love
