The holidays are special. They’re a time to celebrate, to thank God, to meditate on His faithfulness and all He’s done for us. Without Christ, we would be nothing – Amazima would not exist. We want to do everything we can to honor Him, and we feel like one way we can do that is to honor the staff members He has sent us. We believe we honor Him when we honor others.
That being said, we wanted to share a few pictures with you from our Uganda staff Christmas party. This year we gave each of them a lantern as a Christmas gift. We can’t help but think of the irony of giving lanterns to individuals who are lights themselves – lights to the children in our program, lights to the communities we serve, lights to one another.
