Her name is Gorret, and she is a student in our Scholarship Program. Around here, she is known for her kindness. She is kind to her friends, her siblings, and to her aunt and uncle who took her in at a young age. She regularly helps take care of her siblings and with chores around the house. Because of this, her family and friends hold her in high regard.
When Gorret has free time, she enjoys skipping and playing blada and netball. She also expresses a lot of enthusiasm for worship and singing, which is a joy for us to observe. As you can imagine, we think Gorret is pretty amazing. In fact, our team believes the sky is the limit for Gorret.
While one of our team members was talking with Gorret, she told him, “When I was not in Amazima I was not getting a chance on Saturday to get Bible study. In the week I could get only one day, but now I can get two days.“
And that, that is why we do what we do.
We hope you’ll take the time to meet Gorret in the view below. She truly is one-of-a-kind!
