Uganda is a very fertile country, where agriculture not only thrives, but is also highly depended on by nearly everyone. On campus, students are given the opportunity to tend to gardens as part of a life skills group. This kind of hands-on education is highly valuable because whether that is their career path or just something they will do at their homes, agriculture will likely be a part of all of their daily lives.
