Week 47 Application

Knowing that we live in the middle of a spiritual war helps us see why the Bible matters so much. It’s not just a collection of stories or rules—it’s the roadmap to victory and life in Jesus. When you pick up your Bible, ask yourself: How does this part of the story point to Jesus? How does it help me understand the battle going on around me? One of the primary purposes of Scripture is to reveal Christ. From beginning to end, the Bible unfolds the character of God and His redemptive plan for humanity—centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It’s not just a book of stories or rules; it’s a divine invitation to know God and experience the salvation He offers through His Son.
When you find it hard to read scripture or understand it, don’t give up. Think of the Bible like a great story that unfolds chapter by chapter, all pointing to Jesus as the hero who wins the ultimate victory. Keep learning from those who know the story well, and let the Holy Spirit guide your understanding.
