Both stories show someone giving up everything because they discovered something better. That’s what the Kingdom of God is like—it’s worth more than anything we could gain on earth.
God isn’t saying money or comfort are wrong, but He is reminding us: they don’t last. Heavenly treasure does. That kind of treasure includes things like peace, purpose, joy, and eternal life with God.
So what are you chasing? Is it grades, popularity, money, comfort? Or is it Jesus?
The good news is, we don’t have to earn God’s treasure. He’s already given it through Jesus. But now that we know what it’s worth, are we living like it?
